It supports HACCP-related temperature checks through a fast response time and a clear measured-value display.<\/p>\n<p>The NTC sensor measures temperatures from -50\u00b0C to 290\u00b0C. The foldable probe can be stowed away compactly after use, while the robust metal hinge supports repeated use. The housing, made of ABS, TPE and stainless steel, is waterproof to IP67. A rubberised surface improves grip during handling.<\/p>\n<p>The backlit, single-line LCD displays the measured values. The Food Thermometer \/ Thermometer for Food allows selection of \u00b0C or \u00b0F and use of the MAX, MIN and HOLD modes. The HOLD mode freezes a measured value on the display; MAX and MIN provide the highest and lowest recorded values. If the measuring range is exceeded, the display shows \u201cOL\u201d.
