In addition to measuring relative humidity and ambient room \/ dry-bulb temperature, the meter calculates dew-point and wet-bulb temperatures in degrees Celsius (\u00b0C) and Fahrenheit (\u00b0F). Thus, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) installations and HVAC system performance assessments are key applications of the PCE-HVAC 3 meter. Measurements of relative humidity and ambient room \/ dry-bulb temperature are made directly by built-in sensors. Dew-point and wet-bulb temperatures are calculated based on the measurement values transmitted \u200b\u200bby the sensors.<\/p>\n<p>Featuring a large, backlit display and six-button operation, the meter is both easy to read and easy to use. The meter is equipped to take one-time measurements on the spot as well as to monitor climate changes over time. The automatic shutdown function can be disabled when taking long-term measurements. There is also a thread on the back of the meter to allow the measuring instrument to be mounted on a tripod.
