It offers a resolution of 0.1\u00b0C \/ 0.18\u00b0F and measures with an accuracy of \u00b1 3\u00b0C \/ 5.4\u00b0F in the range -50\u00b0C &#8230; 0\u00b0C \/ -58 &#8230; 32\u00b0F and \u00b1(1.5% of the measured value + 2\u00b0C \/ 3.6\u00b0F) in the range from 0\u00b0C &#8230; 400\u00b0C \/ 32 &#8230; 752\u00b0F. The measured value display can be switched between \u00b0C and \u00b0F, and the emissivity can be adjusted in the range 0.1 to 1.0.<\/p>\n<p>An optical temperature alarm can be freely set within the usable measuring range and supports a rapid response when defined limit values are exceeded or not reached. The measuring device has a measuring spot ratio of 12:1 and a fast response time of just 0.5 seconds. Additional functions such as hold and maximum value display facilitate handling and increase practicality. The Digital Thermometer switches off automatically after 50 seconds of inactivity to save battery power. The measurement results are shown on a 1.5-inch color LCD display.<\/p>\n<p>The Digital Thermometer is used wherever non-contact temperature measurements are useful or necessary &#8211; for example in electrical engineering, in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, in food inspection, in vehicle maintenance or for monitoring machines and systems.
