Thanks to its sturdy ABS construction, dirt- and water-resistant membrane keyboard, and water-resistant, lightweight, ultra-strong carbon-fiber probe shaft, you can use this measuring device even in the most challenging conditions. <\/p>\n<p>Scorching heat, freezing cold, or using the probe in rain or snow\u2014the MD200 is specifically designed for these environments and ensures ultra-precise location tracking in any situation.<\/p>\n<p>The MD200 can reliably locate ferromagnetic objects at depths of up to three meters and, as it approaches them, display them as numerical values and bar graphs on an easy-to-read backlit screen. In addition, an audio signal is emitted through the built-in speaker, with the pitch increasing in proportion to the signal strength. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Locating an object using the MD200 to measure magnetic fields<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With two transmitter coils and four receiver coils, the MD200 is ideal for measuring changes in the Earth\u2019s magnetic field. The measuring device responds with high sensitivity to even the smallest changes in the Earth\u2019s magnetic field, such as those caused by ferromagnetic objects in the ground. <\/p>\n<p>When approaching such an object with the MD200, the device indicates an increase in the signal both visually and audibly. For larger objects\u2014such as manhole covers\u2014the maximum values are generated at the edges of the object.
