The tests were conducted by MRI Global, a nonprofit laboratory and partner of the U.S., a nonprofit laboratory and partner of the U.S. Department of Defense.  . The test was conducted in a 13.1-foot\u00b3 chamber. The virus was aerosolized for 15 minutes, and the product was turned on for 2 minutes. The results showed that each product effectively removed over 99.98% of SARS-CoV-2 within 2 minutes. This is based on laboratory test conditions, and results may vary under different conditions. This result does not mean that it kills SARS-CoV-2 or prevents the transmission of COVID-19. The Coway Airmega 250S and 400S are identical to the tested models and offer equivalent performance along with an additional mobile connectivity feature.     <\/p>\n<p>\u2074 FCG Research Institute, Inc.\u2019s Human Life Science Lab demonstrated that concentrations of ammonia, acetaldehyde, and acetic acid were eliminated within 30 minutes. This is not a representative result for an actual living space.
