energy-efficient and economical alternative. By turning water into water vapor, heat is extracted from the air, providing an effective cooling effect. Humid air has a greater cooling effect\u2014similar to the way the skin sweats\u2014which is why a large part of the cooling effect comes from the \u201cwind chill\u201d factor.
