To measure humidity, press the probe tips a few millimeters into the material being measured. This will give you accurate and fast results. When measuring in a dark environment, simply turn on the backlight.   <\/p>\n\n<p>When the device is not in use, it automatically turns off after 30 seconds to ensure a long battery life. If the battery voltage is too low, this is displayed in a timely manner on the easy-to-read screen. <\/p>\n<p>To measure wood moisture content, the device includes calibration curves for wood species commonly found in Europe.
